The 'Portrait of a Kōkako' finely detailed art print features a stunning North Island Kōkako bird amongst native clematis flowers (puawhananga).

The Kokako belongs to the endemic New Zealand wattlebirds, an ancient family of birds which includes the saddleback and the extinct huia. They are known for their 'haunting' song and striking blue wattles. Thankfully, their population is continuing to rise in areas with sustained predator control.

Prints are unframed and are sent with a light but sturdy board to keep them safe. Each is titled and hand-signed by Kirsty McMahon.
