The Portrait of a Korimako (Bellbird) finely detailed art print features a NZ native korimako bird, also known as the bellbird. It is surrounded by vibrant harakeke (flax) blooms, on which it loves to feed upon.
The korimako is a medium-sized species of honeyeater endemic to New Zealand. It has been the only living member of the genus Anthornis since the Chatham bellbird went extinct in the early 20th century. It is best known for singing its beautiful bell-like song.
Prints are unframed and are sent with a light but sturdy board to keep them safe. Each is titled and hand-signed by Kirsty McMahon.
